Honda Gas Station V2.0 – A Solar EV Charging Station
Honda has built up a solar powered charging station for electric vehicles / hybrid in the city of Saitama, Kumagaya and Chichibu in Japan.
This refill station (called Honda Gas Station V2.0) is an experimental project where the goal is to see how effective and efficient solar power station when built in an area.

Solar Air Conditioner by Gree Electric Appliances
We have previously discussed about the LG Solar Hybrid Air Conditioner, the air conditioner that can generate electricity through solar panels. Unfortunately it produced only enough electricity for air cleaning machines only.
Gree Electric Appliances, one of China’s air conditioner manufacturers announced that they will begin to sell about 50,000 units of solar powered air conditioning to the United States in the near future and further to the domestic market (China).

Solar Hybrid Air Conditioner by LG electronics

Grid-connected System
Grid-connected system was applied to many urban areas housing, existing electricity network. The purpose of using solar panels, to save the cost of excessive electricity consumption and help reduce the greenhouse effect caused by the use of fossil fuels which cause excessive air pollution. Electrical energy which is in turn, channeled into the electricity networks that already exist and can be stored in the electricity network. This term is called the Hybrid System, which combine solar power plants with electricity network. Solar systems can also be combined with other power plants such as PV-Generator Hybrid, Hybrid PV-Microhydro, Hybrid PV-Wind and can even be combined into 3 systems of different power to Hybrid PV-Wind-Generator.
