New Zealand-based company 2C sells a variety of solar light cap that charged during the day to give light at the night. All the collected energy, light-emitting technology lies in the curved part of semi-flexible pre-bent beak of the cap including solar panels and the NiMH batteries used to store them.

Two LEDs on the part of light Solar Light Cap project in the lower corner up to six meters in front of the wearer, so you wont blind person anyone you look at. Angling cap upward extending the range, saying 2C light can penetrate up to 10 meters (32 feet). Single button, also located at the bottom part, controls all lighting functions. One press will turn on or turn off the lights, while the double-click cycles through different modes including SOS mode and blinking mode. Press and hold buttons control the dimming of the LED.
Cap initially takes about three days from the daylight to achieve full charge, after which one day should be sufficient. A full charge will provide five hours of use on full beam or 36 hours on low beam. A special mode that turns off the lid before the battery completely drains ensure there is always something in reserve to provide short bursts of light with each press the power button until finally discharged.
