Solar Powered Lamp

Harnessing the biggest source of free energy in the whole solar arrangement, the Sun, the “Solar Lamp” by Mike Hages is an environment friendly lighting that other than lighting your desktop or study table as well doubles as a power source for your portable appliances. The lamp contains a photovoltaic panel to charge the battery, at the base, applying ambient sunlight. A power input allows card power supplement the power from the solar energy panel when battery charging or supply an secondary power source, in case the batteries run out during night hours. While a power output lets the user to connect another rechargeable devices to the Solar Lamp for charging over solar panel. Both power connectors apply USB-mini format to let compatibility with a number of existing adapters and to let charging via a laptop or other device.
The Solar Lamp is designed to allow the user with the means to easily customise and enhance available light. The portable design creates it a natural trip fellow for a laptop, and the utilise of rechargeable battery power ways that the Solar Lamp’s utilisation isn’t limited by the availability or accessibility of a wall outlet. By integrating the solar panel for recharging, the Solar Lamp is capable to further free itself from electric cords and outlets while getting advantage of free, renewable energy for charging itself and other devices. The light source includes an array of 12 LED lights and would rather include both yellow and blue LEDs to supply a balanced light.

How Solar Power Plant Installation

Solar Power Plant is a system of clean energy and produce electricity from sunlight. Also support the issue of global warming. Because energy is widely used by State Electricity Enterprise is the energy that can not be renewable (fossil) fuel such as kerosene, gas, coal, etc. Whereas current cost of fuel has begun to become dearer. If using the sun is free energy available abundant.
Installation and Operation is very easy, enduring long and a very inexpensive investment option to be public at this time. Can be used to meet electricity needs anywhere, especially in rural areas or areas that do not (not yet) reached by State Electricity Enterprise network.
Various Benefits of Using Solar Power Plant:
- Source of energy that never runs out and is very environmentally friendly
- Can be used anywhere, especially areas that have not yet reached by State Electricity Enterprise network
- No need to pay State Electricity Enterprise
- Without fuel and pollution-free
- Not require special treatment
- Free from all treatment
- Can be used to light a variety of electrical equipment, especially for lighting the lamp, radio, cassette, TV
- Can be used for emergency lighting when electricity of State Electricity Enterprise, have extinction (power off)
- And so on
Principles of Sun Power Plant
In the daylight the solar panel receives light (rays) of the sun and then converted into electricity through the Photovoltaic. Electricity generated by solar panels can be directly channeled to burden or stored in Electric Box System (EBS), before use to load, light, radio, TV etc.
At the night, where the solar panel does not generate electricity. Electricity that has been collected (stored) in a Electric Box System (EBS) will be used. To turn on electrical equipment, especially the lighting, etc.
Components of Solar Power Plant
1. Solar Panel:
Change the sunlight into electricity. Modular form of the solar panel provides the ease of the electricity needs for various scale of the needs.
2. Electric Box System (EBS):
- Set of traffic from the solar panel to the load
- Saving electric current generated by the solar panel before used to drive the load. Burden can be a lamp, electronic device and other equipment that requires electricity
- Very flexible in placement, you can take shift about.
The Design of Solar Power Plant – The Practical and Flexible
With a flexible design that can be possible to increase the capacity of electricity with solar panels only add (maximum 2 solar panel) for each package.
Installation HOW VERY EASY
- Place solar panel outside the house (roof, roof tile, or make your own tower, etc.) directly to the sunlight adjust with the situation / place / situation you secure place
- Pull cable from solar panel, and enter plug to EBS IN DC (There are DC IN and DC OUT) Plus ON-OFF if you use (do not forget to note the ON-OFF key If you use ON if not used right OFF). For a cable if less in length you can add/connect your own. Set EBS & cable installation neat and safely out of reach of children etc.
- If solar panel at work, on the EBS have red indicator lights, when charging energy from the panel to EBS will be full, red indicator light will turn on flicker, if it is full will be off. Green indicator lights mark the flow you are working.
- In the EBS (Electric Box System) have stop contact Out AC is useful to set the electronic equipment appropriate with watt and energy saved. You can also make your own plug combination for parallel needs. (Many stop contacts that have sold in the market with 2 holes, 4 holes, 6 holes, etc.) find the high quality.
- Ready to use to set the lights, tv, radio, etc

What is a Home Solar Power System
Executive Summary about Home Solar Power by Junaid Mohammad
Installing a home solar power system in your residence is good for the environment.

Requirement
Home solar power systems can be installed on almost all homes except for a very small home which have less than 120 square feet of roof. In most cities you require building permit to install home solar power system to your building.
Working of the System
Home solar power system is installed on the roof where the solar energy is transformed into direct current (DC) power. At night this home solar power system will not work. Most of the home solar power systems are interconnected with you utility. Your utility would provide power as usual at night and during day when your electricity demand exceeds that produced by your home solar power system. In case of cloudy days the home solar power system generates less power.
Home Heating
There are other technologies which convert solar energy into heat but this home solar power system is not used for home heating.
Home solar power systems don’t have any moving parts and solar modules are also tough.
Home Solar Power Systems Generation
Executive Summary about Home Solar Power by Erick Valdes
Home solar power systems have come a long way in a short amount of time. Home solar power systems are designed to absorb energy from the rays of the sun. Today, there are three basic types of solar power for use in homes and businesses:
1. If you install an extensive solar system on your home, you can completely disengage yourself from your local power company’s clutches.
2. Augmentation systems. Most homes that use solar power use augmentation systems. These solar systems are meant to power just one particular aspect of a home’s energy needs, such as outside lights, water heaters, or appliances. The rest of the home’s energy is supplied by a traditional electrical system.
3. Backup systems. These are solar systems installed to keep a home’s power running in case of a blackout by the power company.
Home solar power systems have greatly improved in quality and performance over the past few decades. Solar power makes a home more energy efficient and is more friendly to the environment.

Home Solar Electricity – What to Know Before Purchasing Anything
Executive Summary about Solar Electricity by Melanie Crouse

There are even tax rebates available in many states for families that are converting to home solar electricity. If you’ve been thinking of using PV (photovoltaic) panels for your home solar power, but are finding that it is too expensive, there are other options. There are many green energy suppliers that provide power from various renewable resources, such as solar electricity, wind power and hydroelectricity. If you’ve decided that solar power is the way you want to go, you will need to determine your actual power needs first.
The first thing you need to determine is how much electricity you need your home solar electricity system to generate. Do you want a grid-tied system where you are still connected to the grid, using a combination of your own solar power and the power supplied by the utility company? Or you can combine your own home solar electricity system with the grid, selling back any excess power that you don’t use to the power

Solar Hot Water
Executive Summary about Solar Hot Water by Anna Williams

Solar hot water heating systems are a great way to effectively conserve energy and reduce your energy bill.
Important Facts about Solar Hot Water Systems
- Solar water heaters can be used in any climate.
- The fuel used to run a solar heater is sunshine.
- A solar water heater can reduce your water heating bill by fifty to eighty percent.
- Aside from reducing your energy bill right now, a solar heating system will protect you from future energy price increases.
- When building a new home, or when refinancing, the economic aspect of this becomes even more interesting.
- Using solar power to heat your water will significantly reduce your carbon footprint.
- Solar heaters can be installed in combination with backup systems.
Types of Solar Hot Water Systems
There are two types of systems, “active solar water heating systems” and “passive solar water heating systems.” With a passive system, the water storage tank must therefore always be positioned above the solar water heater collector.
Active Solar Hot Water Systems
There is also the direct circulation system, where water is simply passed through solar heat collector and then routed to the water storage tank for use.
Passive Solar Hot Water Systems
Passive solar water heating systems are usually cheaper than “active solar water heating systems,” as they do not need controls or pumps to circulate the water.
If you live in a warm climate, a passive water heating system might be all you need. Essentially, solar water heating systems consist of a water storage tank and its solar collectors. The solar collectors are used to collect solar energy (which heats water), and the tanks store the heated water. 75% of the energy consumption of the average home is for hot water and heating. The most economical and effective way of using solar power is through the use of solar heating, and solar hot water heaters.
Homemade Solar Hot Water Heater – One of the Easiest Home Renewable Energy Systems You Could Make?
Executive Summary about Solar Hot Water by Denzil De Vries
Installing a solar hot water system is one of the easier projects to undertake if you are keen to create your own home made renewable energy systems.
The key to the solar hot water system is the solar collector. It is just a tank that has been modified to absorb thermal energy from the Sun. So it may be painted black on the external surfaces and have insulation on the internal surfaces to prevent heat loss.
The flat plate solar collector design uses the same principles but is designed to squeeze even more juice out of the Sun. The plate is painted black to again absorb solar radiation and heat. Along the plate is tubing that will hold water. The tubing exposes far more water to the heat than the ordinary old solar collector. This means more water is heated or made hotter.
Where you place your collector is vitally important but is dictated by two factors. It needs to get as much Sun as it can, so a south facing location in the home is best. But it also needs to move water to the boiler system in the home. So the nearer it is to the boiler the better. If the boiler is well located you could position the solar water collector above the boiler and let gravity move the water from boiler and back to collector based on the heat of the water.
A solar hot water system can be a simple as a solar water collector that has no moving parts or electricity to worry about and a connection to your boiler system.
Most people look into a solar hot water heater because they want to save money on their heating bills. With this in mind a solar hot water heater will help to reduce your bills by pre-heating water that goes into your traditional boiler.
