Eight19, a collaboration company between Cambridge University and Carbon Trust promises a cheap and flexible solar panel.

This Organic Solar PV type uses a transparent material so that when affixed to the glass will still be able to let the sun go into.

Although transparent and flexible, this  roll up solar panel still promising efficiency in terms of generating energy from the sun. This new solar cells is easier to install and also cheaper compared to the other photovoltaic technology.

Eight19 company name was taken from the travel time of the sun to the earth that took 8 minutes and 19 seconds.
