This collection of fine accessories exploring ways to incorporate the solar cells into textiles in which technology meets tradition. Decorative accessories such as handheld fans and dress are charged when used outdoors in daylight. When brought indoors in the afternoon they turned into a decorative ambient light display for the home, powered only by energy stored earlier. Solar vintage collection explores the mobile power from the perspective of haute couture. Energy can be captured passively with environment-friendly way while the user moves outside of everyday life and at a distance from traditional resources. Electronic components such as solar cells, resistors and LED integrated directly into the antique and hands-decorated fabrics and using conductive thread wired together into working circuits. Embroidery motifs and organic prints recall endangered birds. Material used in each piece is selected with environmental sensitivity in mind. For example, support structures and yarn are cellulose-based (thin wood and viscose), and electronic components are free of hazardous materials.
Car bonnets, roof tiles and building facades can quickly enter the colorful and flexible solar panels to complement their conventional resources. Spheral Solar Power has produced efficient and flexible solar cells, which produces electricity at a lower cost and open an array of new applications for renewable energy.

Like denim material consists of thousands of tiny silicon beads attached to aluminum foil – each bead acting as an individual solar cells and uneven surfaces offer a larger area for light collection. Production costs can be reduced through the use of recycled silicon and this, combined with the efficiency comparable to standards photovoltaic cells and the versatility of a flexible material make Spheral solar cells potential to dramatically expand the use of renewable energy.

Building design can take advantage of hundreds of colors, styles and shapes to smoothly integrate solar cells. Spheral cells can be used to reflect light from or transmit light into the building and expand their flexibility for use in the company logo.

In tile the cells can be incorporated into the curved substrate opening various markets applications and automobile manufacturer may have found an alternative aerodynamic to rigid photovoltaic cells that are not practical in terms of vehicle design.

How To Find Solar Companies

It is always essential to get sure that the good solar companies is selected by the purchasers when they are going to purchase a solar cell or panel for either commercial or residential uses.

It is so simple to check the performance of company by seeing at the standard of their products. The greatest solar power companies commonly supply the purchasers with products that are suitable to meet the needs of the clients and the others commonly lead the consumers to purchase a product that is costly and may not be solution to their questions.

It is urgent for the consumers to get proper direction as without it they are probably to be misinformed and might finish purchasing something that takes costly resources and is not as good as it was so-called to have been. The greatest solar power companies commonly supply their consumers with suggestions on the true and efficient use of the solar power products that are purchased by them.

It has to be thought by the purchasers that the size and the performance of the company are not connected or equal concepts in case of the solar power companies. It is not required that the bigger companies are the greatest in the business. The experience of the company is highly essential in such cases.

The purchasers have to ensure positive facts and they would be able to check, for themselves, the performance of the company. Components like the amount of long time of operation, the amount of systems set up and the background of the company are great indicators of the company’s model.

The clients should do their research too before they start to purchase product from a specific solar companies. The purchasers must have good knowledge of the several items of the solar power products they are getting to purchase so that they are in a well situation when they go to buy these products. The research also enables the consumers to ask essential enquiries of the companies.

The purchaser also needs to be perfectly sure of what he needs as that would enable him to deal more fruitfully with the special solar companies. In cases where the purchaser needs to switch the energy system into a solar one the customised solar power systems are the greatest. The purchasers can also go for companies that work in their vicinity. The essential reason behind this is the fact that the local companies can address the several troubles looked by the owners of the solar power systems than several company which is not in the vicinity of the owner. They can also play activities like replacing of machine pieces or maintenance of machines way better than a company that is located at a distance form the owner.

Solar system consists of a star called the sun and all the surrounding objects. These objects, including eight known planets with elliptical orbits, meteors, asteroids, comets, dwarf planets, and natural satellites.

Believed that the solar system formed 4.6 billion years since the last and is the result of clumping of gas and dust in space which form the sun and the planets surrounding it.

The solar system is located on the edge of the Milky Way galaxy at a distance of about 2.6 x 1017 km from the center of the galaxy, or about 25,000 to 28,000 light years from the center of the galaxy. Solar system around the Milky Way galaxy center with a speed of 220 km / sec, and it takes time for 225-250 million years for the once around the galactic center. By the age of the solar system about 4.6 billion years, our solar system that has been around the galactic center as much as 20-25 times since formed.

Solar system endured by gravitational influence of the sun and the equivalent system of the solar system, which has a center line of a year light velocity, marked a sprinkling of comets called the Oort cloud. There is also a plate-shaped Oort cloud in the inner solar system that are recognized as the inner Oort cloud.

Caused by a longitudinal planet’s orbit, distance and position of the planets versus the sun position changed based on the position of planet in the orbit.

Origin of the Solar System

Many hypotheses about the origin of the solar system have been presented by experts, including:

Nebula Hypothesis

Nebula hypothesis was first proposed by Immanuel Kant (1724-1804) in the year 1775. This hypothesis then perfected by the Marquis de Laplace Pierre in 1796. Therefore, the hypothesis is better known as nebula hypothesis Kant-Laplace. In the early stages of the solar system was still a giant fog. The fog was formed from dust, ice, and gas called nebulae. Elements of the gas mostly hydrogen. Because the its gravitational force, the fog was shrinking and turning in a certain direction. As a result, the temperature heats up and the fog became a giant star called the sun. Giant sun keep on shrinking and its rotation faster. Further gas rings and ice flew around the sun. Due to gravity, these gases condense along with the decrease in temperature and form inner planets. In the same way, the outer planets formed well.

Planetisimal Hypothesis

Planetisimal hypothesis was first proposed by Thomas C. Chamberlain and Forest R. Moulton in 1900. Planetisimal hypothesis says that our solar system formed as a result of another star who nearly crashed into the sun.

Star Tidal Hypothesis

Star tidal hypothesis was first proposed by James Jean and Jaffries Herold in 1917. Tidal hypothesis is very similar to the star planetisimal hypothesis. But the difference lies in the amount of the sun first.

Condensation Hypothesis

Condensation hypothesis originally put forward by the Dutch astronomer named GP Kuiper (1905-1973) in 1950. Condensation hypothesis explains that the solar system formed from a spinning giant fog ball forming giant discs.

Twin Star Hypothesis

Twin star hypothesis originally proposed by Fred Hoyle (1915-2001) in 1956. The hypothesis suggests that firstly our solar system was two stars of similar size and adjacent to one of them exploding leaving small fragments.

History of discovery

Five nearest planet to the Sun than Earth (Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn) has been known since ancient times because they all can be seen with the naked eye. Many people in this world have their own names for each planet.

Development of science and technology in the five centuries of observation and bring people to understand the celestial bodies are liberated from the veil of mythology. Galileo Galilei (1564-1642) with his refractor telescope capable of making human eye “more sharply” in observing celestial bodies, which can not be observed by naked eye.

Because Galileo’s telescope could observe more sharply, he could see many changes in the appearance of Venus, as Venus Crescent as a result of position changes of Venus against the Sun. Venus around the Sun reasoning further strengthened its heliocentric theory, namely that the sun is the center of the universe, not the Earth, which was initiated by Nicolaus Copernicus (1473-1543). Heliocentric arrangement is the sun surrounded by Mercury to Saturn.

Galileo telescopes continue to be improved by other scientists such as Christian Huygens (1629-1695) who discovered Titan, Saturn’s satellites, which were nearly 2 times the distance of Earth-Jupiter orbit.

The development of the telescope is also well balanced with the development of motion calculations of celestial bodies and relationships with each other through the Johannes Kepler (1571-1630) with Kepler’s Law. And the peak, Sir Isaac Newton (1642-1727) with the law of gravity. With these two theoretical calculations that allows the search and calculation of the celestial bodies further.

In 1781, William Hechell (1738-1782) discovered Uranus. Careful calculation of Uranus orbit concludes that the planet is disturbed. Neptune was discovered in August 1846. The discovery of Neptune was not enough to explain the interference of Uranus orbit. Pluto was later found in 1930. When Pluto was discovered, he was known as the only celestial object that was after Neptune. Then in 1978, Charon, satellites which make a circuit of Pluto found, previously mistaken for the real planet because it does not differ greatly with Pluto. Astronomers later found about 1,000 other small objects in the back of Neptune (called trans-Neptunian objects) are also around the Sun . There may be around 100,000 of similar objects known as Kuiper Belt objects (Kuiper belt is part of the trans-Neptunian objects). Dozens of celestial bodies including the Kuiper Belt Object that is Quaoar (1250 km in June 2002), Huya (750 km in March 2000), Sedna (1800 km in March 2004), Orcus, Vesta, Pallas, Hygiea, Varuna, and 2003 EL61 (1500 km in May 2004). The discovery of 2003 EL61 is horrendous because of this Kuiper Belt object known also have a satellite in January 2005, although smaller than Pluto. And the peak is the discovery of UB 313 (2700 km in October 2003) which was named Xena by its discoverer. Except larger than Pluto, this object also has a satellite.

List of planetary distances

List of planets and the average distance of the planet with the sun in the solar system is as follows:

57.9 million miles to Mercury
108.2 million miles to Venus
149.6 million miles to Earth
227.9 million miles to Mars
778.3 million miles to Jupiter
1427.0 million miles to Saturn
2871.0 million miles to Uranus
4497.0 million miles to Neptune

There is also asteroids circle, mostly around the sun between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter.

Because of its rotational toward each axis, equator is the longest circumference in each planet and star.

Konarka Technologies, Inc., a company that develops and sells Konarka Power Plastic, materials that convert light to energy, announced today that it has partnered with Arch Aluminum & Glass Co. to launch a pilot project, first curtain wall. In this project, two walls of solar panels will be erected in the building Arch’s office in Tamarac, Florida. Solar panels produce 1.5 kilowatts power, is expected to be fully functional by the end of the year.

Array of solar panels, glass and aluminum used in pilot installations to be used as a living laboratory with full modularity, including the ability to simultaneously test a variety of panels in a variety of conditions, will be a curtain wall. The wall will be built solar panels to gather data for architects and other customers who are interested in integrating solar cells into building materials.

Solar Residential Energy: What is it for?

Solar energy: this term basically does not cause a stirring in the mind as the explanation that comes at hand is indeed too simple. Everyone knows what is meant by solar energy, and that is, the energy that comes from the sun. In its most basic sense, solar energy and other solar residential equipment are nonetheless environment-friendly and not risky at all. But then you need not become one fine environmentalist first before you will be able to come across with whatever advantageous benefit solar residential energy has.

Why is the solar residential energy said to be environment-friendly? What are its general benefits? Practically speaking, when solar residential energy is used, the electrical bills tremendously go down as compared to the other type of residential energy available for all people. Why would you pay for such expensive bills when all you need to do is to employ solar residential energy?

Another major advantage of the solar residential energy is the absence of the very complicated and dangerous wiring. Solar energy lights in the garden path or any other solar energy-powered items used in your residential are ready to be installed less the wiring to be dealt with. In reality, these solar light bulbs are equipped with darkness sensors so they need not be turned on to give off light and they need not be turned off as well when they are no longer needed.

As a sort of simple explanation, the solar light bulbs will simply have to be purchased, taken out of the boxes, installed, and then presto! You just have to situate them where you want them to be and never worry about them ever again.

A List of the Benefits of Solar Residential Energy

Why is the solar residential energy equally beneficial? Why is it more recommended for use? Here are some of its benefits which are truly worth the attention to be graced by anyone:

Solar residential energy is environmentally friendly. As mentioned a while ago, solar residential energy will not harm the environmental features. It is specifically clean and renewable as well. More so, it does not cause pollution just like what the rest of the traditional electrical forms do.

Solar residential energy systems need the least maintenance. They are not fuel-powered so no need to buy the refills.

Solar residential energy makes you save a lot of money. The energy that is derived from the sun can be accessed for free as you make use of solar lights, solar panels, and the likes. The federal government most of the time gives out financial incentives. You don’t get affected by the rise of the fuel rates since you are using solar residential energy.

Making use of the solar residential energy makes you entirely independent from the foreign and centralized energy sources. Power outages will not likely affect you in any manner.

Most of the solar energy items are very easy to install thus lessening the complicated work of the wiring systems.

Some Common Disadvantages of the Solar Residential Energy

Of course the disadvantages will not be taken aside. Here are some of the most common disadvantages of the solar residential energy:

The employment of a solar residential energy can be expensive at first. But as time passes by, it becomes light to the pocket.

The strength of the solar residential energy will relatively depend on the location of your residence in relation with its facing to the sun. Also, the area of your residence is another point to consider. You will need large areas to install the solar panels.

The Various Solar Energy Items

There are lots of solar energy devices that you may opt to buy. Included are the solar flashlights, solar heaters, car ventilators, solar video cameras, solar radios, solar pool purifier, solar mosquito inhibitor, solar lighting, and solar fountain pumps.

What You Must Do

Back in the earlier years, solar energy powered devices were very costly that very few homeowners made use of the solar residential energy. But these days, small volumes of solar energy devices are put up for sale therefore making it affordable for all. If you don’t have enough money to fund these items you can always start small.

Green energy has taken off in a big style these days, and the subsequent edition of that take-off is that folk are getting serious about creating some part of their consumed energy by themselves at home!

If you have also had that thought ( or have watched it on the T. V. ), Free Energy Options is good for you. Created by recognized mechanical engineer Alan Hopkins, the Free Energy Options program is a total ebook which guides us to make our own windmills, solar power generators, and more, in our own backyard!

And what’s more, it shows that most of these energy creators can be made with the least of investments and by trying a lot of things that have been around without use in our garages ( and a few which need to be purchased at our local Depots ). For instance, a power generator that runs on either solar power or wind energy can be made at under $ two hundred ; and when you compare that to a regular generator, you will not even get one that runs the fans and lights in your home!!

We heard about this program on a reputed web site, and decided to try it out – it was available for under $ fifty, and that too came with a 60 day refund if not happy! The download came through straight away, and the very first thing we noticed was the layout of the book was real neat! Free Energy Options came with a large amount of illustrations, and every one of them were demarcated in a non-engineer language, so that normal folks like us can understand and implement the suggestions given.

We managed to get a little windmill running quite easily, and it was fairly exciting to see the 1st bulb glow with that power – we know now how Edison must have felt! The challenge for next weekend is to get a two hundred watt solar cell put on the roof of the house.

truthfully, it’s the refund guarantee that got us to try the Free Energy Options manual. Hopkins promises that if we cannot get an alternative power system running at home at under $ 200, he will be able to refund the money of the book. We lost out on the refund. Wanna try?

Can You Really Make Money With Solar Power?

What’s the real truth behind all those ads?

Just searching around online for information about solar power, solar energy, and installing solar panels on your own home, you’ve probably run across many claims which say you can earn money from solar power. So is it true? Yes… sort of.

You see, it’s not nearly as cut and dry as many advertisements would lead you to believe. There is a process involved, and for most people it requires extensive investments before you can actually start “making money” from the solar power you’re generating.

It’s becoming a well known fact that installing solar panels on your home can drastically reduce your electricity bills. In fact, if you install enough of them, you can eliminate your monthly electric bill entirely. And if you happen to generate extra electricity… and you live in the appropriate place… you might be able to get “paid” for the solar power you generate.

The catch though, is that you have to be generating more power from your solar panels than you actually use.

Most residential solar installations only provide part of the total household electric usage, because installing a large enough solar panel system to cover the entire load can cost upwards of $10,000. And even though building your own solar panels is much less expensive at an average of about $200 per panel, many standard size households in the United States need 10-20 panels just to get close to covering their own electricity usages each month.

Here’s how the reality tends to work for most American families:

1. They install a small, starter solar panel system that’s relatively inexpensive. This system helps them reduce their overall monthly electric bill, but in most cases the starter system only provides enough electricity to reduce the bills by 30%-50%.

Larger reductions can be obtained easily of course, simply by installing a larger solar panel system right from the start. Not everyone can afford that large initial investment though, so they go with a starter system instead.

2. Over time the family may add to their home solar panel array. As you add solar panels, you continue taking more of the load off of public electricity needs. This of course continues lowering your electricity bills.

3. If the family continues investing in additional solar panels over time, they will eventually reach the point where they are providing 100% of their own home’s electricity needs. This is when the public electric bill is hopefully at $0.00 per month year round.

At that point, if the family wants to start “earning money” from their solar power installation, they will need to reduce their own power consumption, install more solar panels, or both. The only way they can earn money directly from this investment is to generate extra electrical power which can be sold back to the public electric company.

Not all electric companies will actually “buy back” the power you generate either. In fact, most of them simply give you energy credits which can be applied to your existing utility bill. In most cases if you have no electric bill to pay though, those credits can be cashed in a few times each year, for a partial part of their value.

So before you decide to install solar panels as a way to make money, evaluate your true situation first. Figure out how much electricity your family uses on average, and use that figure to know how many solar panels you’ll need to buy. Calculate that cost first and if you’re still determined to try and make money from this venture, research your local laws. Also be sure to talk to your local power company so you’ll know their policies and restrictions before you invest more money than you need to.
